Veronica smiled to herself as she brushed “Natalie”’s hair and heard her sigh in contentment. Veronica may have been done with Nate, but that didn’t mean she wanted to break his heart. She was a witch, not cruel. Better to turn Nate into her BFF and make sure she had no memory of ever being a man or dating Veronica. The spell would finish its work soon enough.
Besides, Veronica had a cousin who was looking for a new girlfriend, and she felt Natalie would be just perfect for him. No broken hearts; just love, and if love needed to change, well, wasn’t that what she was there for?
