Two weeks ago, someone broke into my house, and stole most of my stuff. So, after a friend gave me some advice, I installed a new security system. “It is the best one” he said. I didn’t understand exactly how it worked. But he said something about reforming the robber.
One night, me and my best friend James were playing videogames, when I asked him a favor “Dude, I need your help. You owe me big time, and what I am about to ask is not an easy task”. He looked at me, while drinking the last of his beers, “sure dude, ask away” he said. “Well, my parents said that they will take me out of the will if I don’t get my life together” I told him. “you need some money or something? I wish I could lend you some, but…” he said. “No dude, thanks, but I wish it was as easy as money. They told me that a quick way to know I was more mature, would be if I had a girlfriend, and we were engaged. So, can you help me?” I asked him. “Sure, dude, anything”. I was so glad he had agreed.
I was just walking back from work when something in the sky caught my eye, it was very bright, with kind of a pinkish hue. Nobody seemed to notice it but me. After a few seconds the light just faded away. I just continued walking. I felt like everybody was looking at me. Girls, men, everybody, I just continued walking, but it felt really weird to have all eyes fixated on me.
Kyle woke up not in a good mood. The recent events made him think alot about his actions. He didn’t even touch the remote after the last mishap it caused. “I should get rid of it” he tough and went for breakfast. “Morning Kyle” His sister Abbey greated him with a big smile, Kyle still didn’t got used to this. He sat down at the table and reluctantly ate his ceral. He tough about the people he changed, convincing himself they have it better now. His brother David now as his sister Abbey was so cheerful, his neighbor Tim, whose name was Kim, was about to get married, Mr. Novak, now known as Mrs. Holden had a family, and whoever transformed into Stacey, Mark or Colin was in good hands of her loving parents who supported their daughter. The only thing he didn’t regret was turning Chad into a shy girl. Sometimes he saw her with her friends and Kyle was sure it was better for him.
I had just bought a drink from a store at the mall. The store selled antiques, but for some reason, I felt really thirsty when I passed by, and the owner sold me the drink for 1 dollar. It tasted kind of sour, but I didn’t give it much thought.
I was at the lab working on a special device. My investors expected me to finish it this week. What they wanted was a time travel machine; but the more testing I did, the more convinced I was that time travel was impossible. After some adjusting I got the machine to somewhat work.
“But this is impossible! How did you…? Why?”
Charlie had always been a bit of an elitist douche. Looking down on anyone less rich then him as “white trash” was merely the most annoying and prevalent of his features.
Kate smiled as she watched the new actress pose for pictures. Not that she knew she was a new actress, of course. As far as she knew she’d always been this lady. Of course, in reality, the women in question had been checked into rehab a week ago. Luckily, the managers had seen this coming and hired Kate and her team to create a stand in. As far as Kate knew, she was the only proprietor in the world to provide this particular service. Not only did she save reputations, she also got rid of abusive or cheating spouses as fill ins. Win win, right?
