My sister, Kati always went on the best spring break trips with her friends. This year was no different, she was already on a special trip to Miami. Normally it would not bother me, but I had just lost my job and was stuck at my apartment with nothing to do and no money to spend.
“I would give anything to have a fun spring break like you” I texted her.
“You would do anything, Josh?” Was the response I got back.
“Yes” I shot back to her quickly.
The world began spinning. I collapsed and passed out.
Upon waking I realized I was not in my apartment. I was in a hotel room. Kati grabbed my hand just as I noticed that I was in a room full of spring break girls getting in to their bikinis. As we got into the bathroom, I looked in the mirror and realized my whole world had changed. Gone was lanky male Josh, and instead there was a beautiful girl in a blue bikini. Kati explained that she had been experimenting with witchcraft. She had cast this spell because she had long thought I would make a better sister than a brother. Her and I would be the only one who ever knew I was Josh. The rest of the world knew me as her sister Jenn. All of this should have shocked me, but instead I hugged her and squealed in excitement. Everything about this life seemed so much better.
We had so much fun at the beach that day. And I won’t ever look back.
