Keep On Going

I’d been heading around the country, trying to “find myself.” Cliche, I know, but there it was. Unfortunately, I was running out of cash and out of inspiration. I was getting desperate. I didn’t want to go back to where I started, but I didn’t really see any other options. Then I met the wizard. I didn’t know he was a wizard, at first; he just looked like an old guy with a sixties style hairstyle and a….. loud….suit. He’d seemed sympathetic. He sad he had a way for me to keep on going.

I didn’t have the money to keep paying for rides, but he said he had a way around that. He snapped his fingers…..and I’ll always remember that creepy grin he had before he did it. I blacked out. Next thing I knew, I was on my knees, a chick, and reaching into his parents to express my gratitude.
