I decided to take Amber up on her offer and I couldn’t be happier. After six months I was feeling pretty lonely. On a lark I decided to join my co-worker Amber for a ‘girl’s night out’. I had a ball – clubbing, dancing, drinking and really just cutting loose. After a year full of stress and disappointment I really needed to let off some steam, relax and have some fun.

A brilliant flash of light burst out right in front of me, engulfing my friend sitting next to me. When the light faded, I was stunned at what I was looking at. Once they swapped they decided to stay swapped for a little while to see who’s life is harder. “No way. You said my life is easy because I’m ‘only’ a senior in high school! You already graduated college so you can do whatever you want. Being a 22 year old guy is literally the easiest thing in the world! I’m enjoying it way more than being in school.” Lexi said. “But Lexi this isn’t fair! I did my time. Plus high school is a lot harder as a girl. I have to deal with makeup, these stupid clothes, and mom and dad don’t give me as much freedom anymore! Not to mention your boyfriend hounding at me every chance he gets. He’s asking me for SEX! There’s no way in hell I’m going to do that.” said Martin. “Good, maybe now you can appreciate how hard it is to be a high school girl. I think we should stay like this for another month, I’m enjoying this vacation. And you better keep up appearances or I’m not going to want to swap back! That includes keeping my boyfriend happy.” said Lexi. “I’m gonna tell mom and dad! You can’t do this to me Lexi.” “Go ahead Martin, we’ll see who they believe. Don’t forget I have the rings so I decide when we swap back. Now run along, don’t you have homework to do or something?” Martin stormed off. “I gotta think of a way out of this!” he thought to himself. “Maybe I can steal the rings while she’s sleeping. I guess I’ll play it cool for now.” Unbeknownst to them, their mother had thrown out the Reversal Rings while cleaning the house earlier, thinking they were trash. Stuck with no way to swap back, the siblings were forced to live each others lives. At least there could be worse bodies to be stuck in!
At least the city is safe
Looking at me right now you probably wouldn’t guess that not so long ago I was a though guy. I was a member of special police forces just like my partner who is now my soon to be born daughter.
