A Fresh Start at Mile High

When they said “a fresh start” they really weren’t kidding, Charlie realized as he posed for the picture. He’d gone to Mile High because he needed a fresh start. He was only 21, but he already had a drinking problem and massive debt. He didn’t really have much in the way of options left.

Mile High’s job was to change things as much as possible, creating new lives—so to speak—for the clients. The idea was to keep them away from temptation. “Katherine” was in school on a full ride scholarship, had several siblings, and was working at Hooters, of all places. Charlie didn’t really like being a chick, and definitely didn’t enjoy working at Hooters, but what the hell. Better then what he had, that’s for sure.
