Daniella struck a pose as Luigi laughed and pointed the camera at her. This is beyond tacky, Danny thought from some locked away part of his brain. Daniella dismissed it as unimportant. She was used to these random, masculine thoughts coming from some part of her psyche. but didn’t know why. After all, she’d always been a girl, so she didn’t know why this was happening.
When they said “a fresh start” they really weren’t kidding, Charlie realized as he posed for the picture. He’d gone to Mile High because he needed a fresh start. He was only 21, but he already had a drinking problem and massive debt. He didn’t really have much in the way of options left.
Andrew and Max wanted to fly. Specifically, they wanted to fly fighter jets, such as the F-16. Unfortunately, Max’s arrest record meant the Armed Forces wouldn’t take him, and Andrew was near sighted. He did, however, own a spell book. Andrew had a plan–enlist him and Max as chicks, the theory being they could use their looks to help get in, at least. They knew it was a dumb plan, yet through hard work they managed to make it in.
Altos, New Mexico, was the kind of quiet town where nothing much seemed to happen, especially not on a Friday night. Boredom was as big a problem as anything. Building 34C was cursed. Nobody was really sure why it was cursed, or how, but it was. Amerstad College had closed the building down for a number of years, but with a recent influx of freshmen they needed more on campus living space. A group of college students agreed to stay in the place and fix it up, with the intent of eventually moving in. Nobody really knows what happened for sure that night; but the next morning there were a half a dozen sorority girls instead of guys in there and the place was fixed up beautifully.
Molly had wanted to spice our sex life up a bit. Whenever she got in these kind of moods I always felt kind of uneasy, especially seeing as I knew full well she knew magic.
