Obvious

Marty had just finished his experiments with the spell book. He felt he’d created a brand new potion, and he was ready to test it out. His friend Ben volunteered to take the potion. Marty couldn’t wait to see how the potion affected Ben.

Marty felt the results were kinda anticlimactic. Sure, the physical changes were spectacular—-but all Melissa did was point out the obvious. “This isn’t alcohol” she said, deadpan. ……Of course, Marty had told him he had invented a new kind of beer. But damn it, why couldn’t the first observation be more……scientific and less…..obvious?
