I was about to write my 100th caption when I received an email from an Open TG Captions’ user. Evidently, he told me that he loved the website (who doesn’t?) and noted that it must have been quite some work. I smiled as I continued to read his mail.
He told me that he had found a strange spell that could only be used once. He thought about using it for himself, but was a bit scared of the possible side effects.
As I kept on reading, I understood that the spell was — somehow — hidden in the mail. I was already feeling its effects. The last words I could read were “Enjoy your holidays, you deserve them!”
Then, it went black.
When I “woke up” I couldn’t move, I couldn’t open my eyes. It was weird, I was awake but I couldn’t do anything. I started to think about my life, and it all went so fast. From yesterday, backwards. I could see some specific memories like parties with my friends, moments with my girlfriend, holidays from last year… And it kept going until my late teens.
Wait. I remember this moment. I remember spending some time with this girl and… Yes. That’s when I began to think about what life would be like if I was born a girl.
I was sitting next to her. She turned her head to look straight at me and it felt like I was sucked inside her body. It all went swiftly after that.
I woke up, feeling a bit groggy. I was on the beach. I checked my phone… June 30th 2006. Oh shit.
I didn’t need much more time to realise that I had become this girl. I was… so young. But so cute. I remember her, Emily…
I guess I will have to spend the holidays as her.
Maybe her whole life even… ?
